The Students' Tribune is not liable for any errors or omissions in the information provided on this Site, or for any loss or damages suffered as a result the information and materials appearing on this Site or relating to any other matter.
The use of this Website is conditional upon your agreement to the following terms and conditions. The Students' Tribune reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions at anytime, without notice. All changes to the Terms and Conditions will appear on this page. By using this Website, you agree to be upheld by these changes as they are made public. Pictures on the Site is not intended to be viewed by those under the age of eighteen (18) without the expressed permission from the individual’s parent or legal guardian. The Students' Tribune claims no responsibility for those offended by content on the Website/or other media outlets.
By accessing the Website and submitting a picture to The Students' Tribune, you are agreeing that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age. If you plan to submit a picture with individuals other than yourself, you hold agreement to obtain permission of submission from those represented in the picture and that everyone represented is at least eighteen (18) years of age.
The Students' Tribune claims no responsibility for pictures submitted without consent of the individual(s) shown in the pictures. It is the isolated responsibility of the individual who submit the picture to obtain permission from those represented in the picture prior to submitting it to The Students' Tribune. The Students' Tribune claims no responsibility for consequences of such content being posted on the Website and/or other media outlets owned by The Students' Tribune.
If you would like a picture removed, please send us an email (editorial@thestudentstribune.com) identifying the content in detail so that we can remove it from the Website/or other media outlets quickly and efficiently.
The Students' Tribune is not responsible for/affiliated with third-party advertisers on the Website/or other media outlets.
CONSENT:
You will not submit any photographs unless you have first obtained consent from each and every person depicted in the photographs. By submitting photographs to this Site, you represent and warrant that all persons in the photographs are over the age of 18 and have given knowing consent to the publication of the photographs for public, commercial and/or advertising purposes as well as for use by third-parties. You further represent and warrant that you have the right to share the material in your submitted content, including, but not limited to, intellectual property, trademarks and copyrighted material.
By submission of any photographs you grant The Students' Tribune the right to print, publish, broadcast, and use in any manner it deems appropriate, in any media now known or hereafter developed, including, without limitation, the World Wide Web, at any time or times, the photographs and any language contained therein, for public dissemination and use without compensation.
INDEMNIFICATION & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
By submitting photographs, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless The Students' Tribune, its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, attorneys, agents and representatives (“The Students' Tribune”), from and against any and all third party liability for any injuries, loss, claim, action, demand or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Site, including without limitation any third party claim for copyright infringement or a violation of an individual’s right to privacy and/or publicity right or for lack of consent.
You further agree to defend, indemnify, and hold The Students' Tribune harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your use of the Site.
Under no circumstances, including, but not limited to, negligence, shall The Students' Tribune be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or any way connected with the use of the Site, or the inability to use, the Site or a site that is linked to this Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
PRIVACY STATEMENT:
We take privacy very seriously. We do not record or store any information that links back to picture submissions. We do not post any pictures that include names or easily identifiable information about an individual.
